My submission for the 2015 Montclair Film Festival poster contest. The poster uses many of the special and unique features of downtown Montclair to represent the culture of the town, such as the historic Hinke building, Cuban Pete's truck, and the New York City skyline looming in the background.
This project also gave me the opportunity to design 2 custom fonts to use in the large billboard: Film Strip (used for the word "film") and Zoetrope (used for "Montclair" and "festival").
Unfortunately, my design was not chosen, but you can check out the festival here.
A poster for the upcoming film, The Waiting Room, by independent director and writer Mike West. The film explores ideas of imaginary friends and the psychology behind them, so I worked with Mike in developing a concept for the poster: four framed portraits of the film's four imaginary friends hang forgotten on a dilapidated wall.
I found myself caught up in Attack on Titan one week, so I illustrated this poster featuring the Colossal Titan in all of his exposed-muscle glory.
Not much else to say here, other than that this poster is now hanging on one of my walls to welcome in guests.
