The Impaler Typeface (v.1)

$15.00

Designer: Mike Sulick | Release Date: 07.08.24

The Impaler is a typeface designed to be the anti-sans-serif, breaking the trend of (admittedly lovely) ultra-clean and geometric sans-serif typefaces with “aggressive serifs.” This typeface is named “The Impaler” due to its sharp and elongated serifs that have a tendency to stab into other characters. It is inspired by the playful and whimsical type featured in Headliners type catalogs from the 60s which often had expressive serifs, but given a fierce new attitude.

Version 1 of The Impaler includes a single weight, Extended Bold, at a reduced price. In the future, updated versions of the typeface will be released with additional weights, accented characters, and more OpenType features. Anyone who purchases Version 1 will received these updated versions at no additional cost.
